The Paris International Boat Show 2011 is scheduled for the 3rd till the 11th Dec 2011 in Paris at Porte de Versailles. The Paris International Boat Show is an event that is organised yearly and is attended both by locals and tourist from all over the world. In this boat show there is the opportunity to see products and services relating to the yachting industry from around 1,200 exhibitors and 1,400 brands showcasing their most recent models and gadgets. These models will be prototypes, with a glimpse of the highly developed technology and innovation of Paris boat manufacturers. There will be around 600 motor boats, 500 sailing boats, and 300 various small crafts this year.
There will be four main exhibitions at this boat show, namely: motor boating, equipment, sailing and tourism. For sailing and leisure, there will be exhibitions from the major French shipyards such as Jeanneau, Dufour, X Yachts, Allures, Alliaura, Alubat, and J Europe. The shipyards will be showcasing economical and lightweight boats. This boat show is also a good place you will be able to have up to date information about the new trends in the industry, including renting and making boats more accessible and within budget. As for equipment, you will find the top and most modernised range of nautical equipments. There will also be demonstrations on how to use these equipments. As for tourism, there are offers that will take you to places on a huge discount—including Spitzberg, Mediterranean, and even Seychelles. Apart from the wonderful display of boats, the Paris International Boat Show is also the perfect venue for watersports lovers. You can visit “The Spot” for activities such as windsurfing, surfing, kitesurfing, wakerboarding, canoeing, dinghy sailing, and paddle boarding. The “Scene Nautic” will be the perfect venue for debates, conferences, projections, and shows regarding the recent issues in the nautical industry. Aside from talks and conferences, the Scene Nautic is also the place for the 1000 Navy sailors, a concert and fashion show in one.
