Cyprus is an island country which lies on the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea and is located to the South of Turkey and to the West of Syria and Lebanon.

It is the 3rd largest Mediterranean island after Sicily and Sardinia and is also one of the most popular tourists’ destinations in the area. Cyprus is often characterized for its odd mixture due to its cultural influences, dominated by the Western Europe and its geographic proximity to Asia and Africa which gives it a hint of the East also.
