We work with boats in all the major ports around the globe and our vision is to put you in direct contact with the best choice of yachts, to cut out the expensive middle-man and to keep the charter price down. You request and book directly with the yacht owner's preferred point of contact, be it the owner directly or their central agent, representative or captain. Over the years we have built up an extensive list of reputable contacts and forged strong relationships with yacht owners. We believe that nobody knows a yacht better than the owner and we put you in direct contact with them. We also vet each boat in each category to ensure that it meets our superior standards of quality and safety. Combining our maritime experience with our skills online we bring you YOD - the easiest, most direct and cost effective way for you to secure your dream yacht charter worldwide.
- How do I get my boat, yacht or service listed on the site ?
To get listed you will first need to register. You can register by filling out the registration form or simply login with your Facebook account. Once you have registered you will be sent an email to confirm your email address, click on the confirmation link and then you will be able to login and start creating your listing. Once you have a profile you will also be able to post information on the forums and take part in discussions. If you would like to list a service in the Yachting Directory then navigate to the Yachting Directory page and on the top right hand side under "User Tools" you will see the Add Your Listing For Free link. If you have added a listing and don't see it on the live site don't worry, once payment has been approved it normally takes us between 12-24 hours to publish a listing but we might be able to do it immediately depending on the day.
- Can I change my listing information ?
You have 100% control over your listing! You can amend or edit all your listing information at any time or as often as you like. You can add specials, change prices, update descriptions, upload images or video - in short everything you need to market your yacht/s or service on our site so that customers can now book directly with the most up to date information so you avoid misled or misinformed clients. Please note that once you have amended a listing it will need to be approved before it goes live again so please don't worry if you don't see your listing live just after making any amendments.
- Why should I promote my boat, yacht or service on the site?

- How much does it coast to be listed on the site ?
Our listing options start from as little as €12 a month. The listing price is dependent on the size of your boat, we have 4 packages which stipulate the size of the boat and the amount it will cost to have your boat listed.
Package 1 - 0-50 ft: €150 per year.
Package 2 - 51-88 ft: €250 per year.
Package 3 - 81+ ft: €450 per year.
Package 4 - Yachts for sale: €75 for 6 months.
We also have a price reduction for multiple listings:
20% Discounts from 2 - 5 Listings.
30% Discount for 6 - 20 Listings.
For 30 or more listings please contact us for a quote.
Listing in our yachting directory is a free service.
- How do I pay for a listing ?
When you create a listing on the site you will pass through different stages to add all your information, the final stage will take you to our payment options page where you will have two options to make payment either by credit card or bank transfer. You will be able to pay for your listing by credit card (Master/Visa or AMEX) though our secure SSL feed directly to our bank (we do not store or retain any of your details) or you can choose to pay by bank transfer, simply select the bank transfer option and you will see our transfer details.
- My port, area or event is not on the site ?
If your port, area or region is not listed on our site or if there is a yachting event you would like to see added to the site and have your boat or yacht listed we would be happy to add it for you. Simply let us know by contacting us on through our contact page or send an email to

- How will I be contacted ?
When adding a listing, you have the option to either show all your details and make them public or have your details set to private. You can list all your contact details such as: email, telephone/mobile number and even Skype ID shown on your listing page on the site. Therefore, people who are interested in making a booking or those who may have any enquiries will be able to contact you directly. You also have the option of keeping your details private. On the right hand side of your listing page there will be an enquiry form and once this is filled, you will receive an email to the primary email address you have selected to receive enquiries.
- How do I get to use the forum ?
Anyone is able to view the forum categories and discussions like the latest yachting news, comments and updates. However, if you would like to add comments and other criteria to the forum, you will need to register to be able to login.
