The Singapore Grand Prix

The Singapore Grand Prix is a motor race, currently in the calendar of the FIA Formula One World Championship. It is held in the Marina Bay area of Singapore.

The European Formula 1 Grand Prix

The Valencia Street Circuit is a semi-permanent street circuit in Valencia, Spain which will host the Formula One European Grand Prix for seven years.

The circuit utilizes the roads skirting around the citys harbour and Americas Cup port area. The track is 5.419 kilometres (3.367 mi) long and incorporates a total of 25 turns – 11 right-handers and 14 left-handers. The event is usually held in the month of June. The Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix

Formula 1 was first introduced to Abu Dhabi in 2007 in the guise of the first ever Formula One Festival. The event which took place on 3 February 2007 was free and the largest gathering of current Formula One cars and drivers outside of a Grand Prix. At the festival it was announced that Abu Dhabi had won the rights to host a Grand Prix from 2009 until 2016. Later that year, Etihad Airways negotiated a three-year deal for them to become sponsors of the Grand Prix.

The race was Formula One first ever day-night race, starting at 17:00 local time. Floodlights used to illuminate the circuit were switched on from the start of the event to ensure there is a seamless transition from daylight to darkness. The circuit is 5.554 Km in length. The 2011 Grand Prix will be held in November.

The Cork International Regatta

The Cork International Regatta is held at Kingston, Ontorio, Canada. The waters off Kingston offer one of the best fresh-water sailing in the world. It is located to the east of Lake Ontario and at the head of the St. Lawrence River, the combination of land mass, islands and thermal effects produce excellent wind and wave conditions with very little current.
Winds are predominantly from a south-westerly direction, with an afternoon wind range of 10-15 knots. Water temperature varies between 18 to 22 degrees (Celsius) with normal air temperature being 25 to 35 degrees. Daylight hours are approximately 16 hours per day. Kingstons thermal wind arises most afternoons and usually reaches 10-12 knots. The three-race courses are about 10 to 15-minute sail from the sailing venue, Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, allowing necessary support services to be made available in close proximity of the course location. While course lengths can be adjusted to meet the daily requirements, a wide-open expanse allows all three courses to be run within sight of each other. The Cork International Regatta will be held on the weekend of September 17 - 18.

The Voiles de Saint Tropez Regatta

Saint Tropez is a town east of Marseilles. It is located on the French Riviera. Every year, around September and October, a regatta is held in the bay of Saint Tropez; Les Voiles de St. Tropez Regatta. Sailboats from all around the world come to Saint Tropez to take part in this week long event and festival.
