X-40 is based in Amsterdam and you can sail the Ijsselmeer.

Her design appeals to couples and families alike, as ease of handling is coupled with spacious and high quality interior to obtain the complete cruising experience. The sailing pleasure and performance furthermore satisfy the owners with racing ambition, as both rig type, hull shape and weight distribution have been optimised to the typical high standards of X-Yachts.

All the things you need for navigation (navigation lights, GPS/ , log, maps of the IJsselmeer and Waddensea, etc.) and for security (life-lines, lifejackets - secumar, emergency signs etc.) are on board.

On the water she makes a profound impression. Her easy and responsive handling is supported by having all control lines and sheets led back to the cockpit. The double-ended mainsheet system is led back to either side of the cockpit under the side decks, and can be controlled either directly by the helm or by a crew member.

Accommodation Description

The 3 cabins are well ventilated, and the cold foam mattresses provide a restful night’s sleep.

All the beds have pillows with pillowcases. You only have to bring a sleeping bag or we can provide duvets and blankets for € 12,00 pp.
