Itineraries:
"RHEA" will be cruising in Turkey and Greece, and possibly further west......her itineraries are tailor made to the individual interests and requirements of her guests.
In Turkey there is the stunning Turquoise Coast with :
The Gulfs of Simi and Doris, including Datca
The Gulfs of Gulluk and Kos, including Bodrum
From west of Marmaris to Fethiye
From Fethiye to Kas, Kalkan and Kekova
In Greece there are the Aegean and Ionian Islands:
In the AEGEAN there is a huge variety of islands, each quite individual. The colouring is sensational in the Aegean light - sunbaked islands, vivid blue sea and dazzling whitewashed houses. Be it a large sophisticated island or a small rural one, the influence of earlier great civilizations is always nearby. There are several groups of islands: the Sporades, the Cyclades (including Santorini, Mikinos, Ios, Milos, Paros, Naxos, Kea, Tinos & Andros) and the Dodecanese (including Patmos, Lipsos, Leros, Kalimnos, Kos, Nisiros, Tilos, Simi, Halki, Rhodes and Karpathos). All these groups hold a wealth beauty, history and culture, and the sailing is excellent. The Dodecanese islands neighbour Turkey and excellent itineraries can be prepared to savour both countries.
In the IONIAN there are the seven islands of Heptanesoi; Corfu, Paxoi, Andipaxoi, Levkas, Ithaca, Cephalonia and Zakinthos. Each island has an individual character, their colourful history is reflected in ancient ruins through to architecture showing the influence of France, Italy and even the English. The green countryside has fields, a variety of trees and olive trees on the lower land, whilst higher up there are pine trees and the aromatic Mediterranean maquis. The luxuriance of the islands is in contrast to the mountains of mainland Albania and Greece which curve inland north of Preveza. There is much of interest, the Gulf of Amvrakia, inland from the port of Preveza, with many ancient sites scattered around its edge, the salt marshes alongside the Levkas Canal, the inland sea bordered by Levkas, Ithaca and Cephalonia, the almost English landscape of Zakinthos, the rocky slopes of the Pelaponnisos, much favoured by those seeking wild uncommercial Greece and much more. The Adriatic - Montenegro, Croatia, Italy "Rhea" has cruised in these waters before and could do so again.....
