Public Cruises

Every Saturday and Sunday as well as all public holidays starting from 10am.

1 hour Sea Cruise

The deep sea public cruise is ideal for a fun filled hour for the whole family young and old. We head out to sea via the harbour channel, where many a days we are delighted by the presence of whales, dolphins and birdlife. Picnic baskets are permitted.
R 150 per adult (over 12 yrs old)
R 80 per child (under 12 yrs old)

1/2 hour Harbour Cruise

This is for the fainter at heart whereby we travel around our harbour and you are able to get a view of many of the ships that come in and out of our port.
R 75 per adult (over 12 yrs old)
R 40 per child (under 12 yrs old)

All private functions are R 4000 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours, thereafter we charge R 3000 per hour.

On request 1 hour charters can be arranged at a fee of R 6000.

If you request to remain at the dock for a period before or after the cruise a docking fee of R 1500 per hour is charged.

We do allow for 20 minutes before your charter and 20 minutes after your charter for your convenience.

Overnight Stays

We offer overnight stays anchored at Vetches Pier for 12 hours at R 10 000 for eight people sharing. You will have to supply your own food and beverages.

‘My Girl’ can be hired per day for a fee of R 16 000. E.g. A trip to Richards Bay, leaving at 6am and returning at 6pm the following evening will cost R 32 000 (2 days).

Fishing Charters

We offer deep sea fishing charters whereby you can choose if you would prefer to do bottom fishing (reds, rockhards, Englishmen and soldiers ect.) or game fishing (dorado, sailfish, marlin and cuta ect.)

‘My Girl’ is fully rigged for Big game fishing and we only carry top quality fishing equipment. All bait, tackle and rods are supplied but you will need to bring your own fishing licence.

School Specials

Our school trips are discounted at a massive 50% of our public rates. In order to qualify for this rate you will need 40 scholars or more.

Education Tour 30 minutes:

• Scholars - R 20
• Teachers - R 25

1 hour Deep Sea Cruise:

• Scholars - R 40 each
• Teachers - R 50 each
