Oliva is a municipality in the comarca of Safor in the Valencian Community. Oliva is located in the Spanish region of Valencia on the Costa del Azahar at the northern edge of the Costa Blanca.
Oliva is becoming increasingly popular with foreign tourists, attracted by 10 kilometers of coastline and the excellent sports facilities. The town lies at the heart of Spanish orange growing region which is 75 kilometres south of the provincial capital Valencia and 100 kilometres north of Alicante.

Oliva has one of the province biggest and most colourful Moors and Christians Festivals in the area. In the old town there are two churches, Sant Roc and Santa Maria la Major.

The marshes with its complex network of lanes and canals, the inland from Oliva were recently declared a Natural Park. The unique vegetation of canes and grasses makes the area one of the most interesting wetland zones on the Mediterranean coast.
