Ceuta is a coastal city which lies along the Mediterranean coast of North Africa across the Strait of Gibraltar which separates it from the Iberian Peninsula.

During your visit in the town of Ceuta, you will have the opportunity to explore the Archaeological Museum (Museo Municipal de Arquelogia) which is located just above the harbor to the left.
Strolling further to the South end of the Plaza de Africa, you will come across the twin-towered Cathedral (1729) which is dotted with a neoclassical façade and a black marble doorway.
You are recommended not to miss the Mediterranean Park (Parque Maritimo Del Mediterraneo) which lies on the waterfront featuring 3 large swimming pools which are shaped like natural pool beaches, islands and palm trees.
You will also find several beaches in the city center especially on the Mediterranean side only a few steps away from the Africa Square where there are some beaches certified with a Blue Flag for the excellent quality of the water and services offered.
Some of the most popular beaches in the area are Sarchal Cove, the La Ribera beach, El Chorillo beach and Benitez beach all of them are worth visiting.
