Porto Rotondo is a small seaside town located in the North of the island of Sardinia. It is renowned for offering picture-perfect views from its various elevated rocky cliffs and is characterized by its numerous small road, friendly people and exquisite food.

Porto Rotondo is a popular tourist destination and hosts numerous interesting landmarks and popular areas of interest.

It is also a renowned yacht charter destination and hosts a large marina located at Molo di Levante, the Marina di Rotondo which can accommodate up to 642 yachts having a maximum length of 60m.

It is well-known for hosting the famous Porto Rotondo Big Game, the most important Big Game Fishing tournament in the Mediterranean Sea.

The event takes place and is organized with the help of the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo. The Marina di Rotondo is also close to the Marina di Portisco in Olbia and of Marina Palau.

During your visit in the town of Porto Rotondo, you will have the opportunity to explore the Church of San Lorenzo, famous in the area for its resemblance of an overturned hull.

You can also visit the Granite Amphitheater which its structure that resembles more like an open-air theatre and also designed by the famous Italian artist.

You are particularly recommended to visit the Piazza San Marco (St Mark’s square) which lies in the center of the town.

You can walk around its narrow streets and visit its harbor which shelters all kinds of boats from the small wooden one to the large luxury yachts.

Whether, you are looking for a place to sunbathe, experience various water activities or just relax on one of Porto Rotondo’s beautiful beaches, the Marinella Beach is particularly recommended.

The beach stretches over 4 km from the center of the town and is dotted with turquoise blue waters and fine sand. You can practice numerous water sports there and you will also find many bars and restaurants nearby.
