Ithaca or Ithaka is a Greek island which lies in the Ionian Sea and it is located to the eastern coast of Kefalonia. The island is split into 2 parts by the bay at Aetos with a large Peninsula to the North and the South.
The northern part of the island offers the best resorts while to the South lays the capital city, Vathi. Ithaca remains an unspoiled island by the modern world and the interior part of the island is mountainous with many pine forests, cypresses, olive groves and vineyards.
