Vodice is a picturesque town which lies in the Sibenik-Knin County in Croatia. It is also a well-known tourist place on the Sibenik Riviera and along its beautiful coast stretches a long promenade with numerous shops, bars, restaurants and small beaches.
Vodice is also renowned in the area for hosting the bigger and most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic coast, the Plava Plaza which has been awarded with a Blue Flag. The beach of Plava Plaza stretches over 4 kilometers by the coast with a large combination of rocky, paved and sandy parts that make it possible to practice all types of water sports with some established schools for diving and sailing.
Vodice is also a major yacht charter destination in the area and hosts the beautiful Port Vodice ACI Marina which can accommodate up to 290 yachts measuring up to 40m long.
The marina is also within easy distance to Jezera Marina, Hramina Marina and the Solaris YC Marina in Sibenik.
While chartering your yacht in the area, you will discover what many visitors call the sunny coast of the Middle Adriatic and discover an excellent cruising ground.
A few distances from the town of Vodice, you will come across the ancient town of Sibenik, a little to the North, the River Krka and finally towards the southwest, there is the range of isles of the famous Kornati archipelago.
You will also have the unique opportunity to sail in the blue waters of the Gulf of Vodice which is itself bordered by only one mile by the isles of Tijat, Prvic and Logoru. You can continue westwards of the town of Vodice towards the fishermen village of Tribunj which is worth visiting too.
You can also sail to Skradin which is an oasis of peace and beauty and visit the National park Krka which is a fairytale world with glorious scenery along with its wonderful waterfalls like the Skradinski buk.
On your sailing route, you will also have the opportunity to explore the archaeological sites that have been inhabited for ages which are also ideal places to recreate your body and rest your soul.
The island of Prvic is also worth visiting, you can visit the Dalmatian town of Sepurine which is dotted with numerous solid, stone steep streets, stone houses, each capturing attention with its particularity.
You can also visit the Kornati islands which are one of the most fragmented insular eco-systems in the Adriatic embodying not less than 12 of all the islands in the Croatian Adriatic (1185 of the islands, out of which 66 inhabited).
