Trogir is a historic town and harbor which lies on the Adriatic coast in the country of Split-Dalmatia in Croatia. It is located in the center of the Trogir Riviera and its town is about 20km from the city of Split.
The town of Trogir is dotted with a large profusion of Romanesque and Renaissance architectural styles within its 15th-century walls and there is also a magnificent cathedral at the town center which has inspired the UNESCO to name Trogir as a World Heritage site.
Trogir is also a renowned yacht charter destination in the area and hosts the Trogir ACI Marina which is well-known for offering natural protection and spaciousness and which is also the favorite spot to anchor a yacht due to the fair climate which is the main reason to establish in Trogir during a yacht charter trip.
The Trogir ACI Marina can accommodate up to 162 yachts measuring up to 80 m long. There is also another marina in Trogir, called the Marina Agana which has a capacity of 130 wet berths and 80 dry berths for yachts having a maximum length of 25 m.
The marinas in Trogir are also within easy distance to the Marina Kastela, Split ACI Marina and Frapa Marina in Rogoznica.
The city of Trogir together with Seget Donji, Seget Vranjica, Vinisce and the island of ciovo make up the Trogir Riviera, which is an excellent cruising ground where you will discover a rich Mediterranean vegetation, many olive groves and vineyards and numerous islands and with sandy and pebble beaches.
During your visit in Trogir, you will also have the opportunity to visit many camps and discover the many homemade delicacies of the area especially the fish specialties. You can also choose from a wide variety of sports and recreation offered.
In the town center, you will see numerous churches and from the top of the famous fortress Kamerlengo which lies in the southern part of the town, you will have magnificent views of the entire town and its beautiful churches.
You can also visit the Saldun Bay near the marina which is dotted with many sandy beaches where you can spend a really nice relaxing day. There are numerous beach bars, restaurants, water sports and diving opportunities offered on the beaches. If you are looking for a quieter place, you will find some other interesting beaches along the coast with many secluded bays.
While sailing along the coast of Trogir Riviera, you can visit the island of Ciovo which is connected to the town of Trogir by a bridge.
