Tribunj is a village which lies in the Sibenik-Knin County in Croatia. It is located at about 3 km to the northwest of Vodice and is a perfect summer gateway because of its beautiful nature. Tribunj hosts some of the cleanest and clearest sea.
Tribunj is also a renowned yacht charter destination along the coast of Croatia and hosts a beautiful marina, the Tribunj Marina which offers about 270 berths for yachts having a maximum length of 30 m.
On the eastern and western coast out of Tribunj, you will find a few beaches where according to many regular examinations are probably the cleanest on the whole Adriatic which make the area an ideal place for swimming and underwater safari.
You will have at your disposal several beaches and bays, the most beautiful being Sovlja where you can practice numerous sports and recreational activities like tennis, indoor football, yachting and there are also some good diving schools.
It is also recommended not to miss the restaurants which offer some excellent sea delicacies like fresh fish, mussels and crabs.
Tribunj is also well-known for offering amazing traditional feasts like the Tribunj and Fishermen nights or the Donkey races which is held in hope to help the preservation of this autochthon species.
You can also visit the old part of the town which lies on a small peninsula near the marina. It is encircled with many defense walls whose ruins can still be seen.
Tribunj is also considered as a haven for yacht charterers as it is surrounded by hundreds of islands that you can visit throughout your whole vacation in the area.
You can also sail towards the nearness of Murter and Vodice to enjoy their many beaches and spend a nice time in one of their numerous nightclubs.
You can also explore the Gulf of Vodice which is beautifully bordered by only one mile by the amazing isles of Prvic, Tijat and Logoru where you can enjoy many water sports activities.
Sailing further in the Adriatic, you will also come across the ancient town of Sibenik from where you can easily reach the river Krka and explore the range of isles of the Kornati archipelago which is one of the most popular tourists’ attractions in Croatia.
