Solenzara derives its name from the Sun. It is a small seaside resort in southern Corsica, ideal for reaching the many beautiful beaches of the Côte de Nacres (the Mother-of-Pearl Coast).
The village of Solenzara is located close to the Bavella aiguilles and to the La Solenzara River, which make this area famous for the possibilities of bathing in natural pools of water, excursions into the mountains, trips around the environs and canyoning.
The La Solenzara River is fringed with eucalyptus, which crosses this nice sea resort.

There are diving, sailing, mono water sport, tennis and pony trekking facilities.

From the Tyrrhenian Sea which bathe the resort, a sun appears from the dawn and ablaze the Peaks of Bavella, whose the imposing site, one of the isles jewels composed with a rocky massif and with an immense forest of Laricio pines, is only a few ramblers strides away, along this river generous with natural swimming pools, in waterfalls or in small holiday-colored beaches.
Port de Solenzara lies on the east coast of Corsica at Solenzara.
The facility offers berths and a boatyard there are 450 berths and moorings in total of which, 150 are for transient yachts.
The Port de Solenzara is open all year round.
