Trinidad and Tobago are the southernmost islands in the Caribbean and are situated to the North of the mainland South America and to the South of Grenada and Barbados in the Lesser Antilles.

Trinidad is the larger of the 2 islands and is considered as the birthplace of Calypso music. It is characterized by its fascinating coral reefs and busy well-equipped harbors which are scattered all around its coasts.

Both islands are renowned tourist’s resorts in the Caribbean however most of the visitors stick at Tobago which hosts most of the Art Galleries, Museums, Carnivals, rainforests and offers a wide variety of the best restaurant with some very interesting cuisine.

The main ports located on the island of Trinidad are: The Chaguaramas and The Port of Spain; which is a commercial port where most of the yachters stop during times of emergency.

The Port of Spain is the capital of Trinidad and is a good starting place and offer large accommodation facilities for cruise ships. You can also venture to the nearby man-made Chaville beach, which is a major tourist attraction.

In Tobago, the main ports are Charlottesville and Scarborough. The 2 islands often hold some boating events and Regattas which are very popular among visitors and yacht charterers alike.
