The MIPCOM 2011 will be held from the 3rd to the 6th of October at the Palais de Festival in Cannes. Normally lasting 5 days, it provides a networking forum and showcase for Film and TV production companies. There are 12 000 -13 000 registered delegates each year.
There will be 21 000 m2 exhibition floor area, 12 279 participants, 4 190 buyers, 700 exhibitors, 104 countries and 35+ sessions & keynotes in the 2011 MIPCOM Show.
It is a media content related event, essentially for co-producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing entertainment content.
It is mainly a TV and entertainment market. It gives the people involved in the TV, film, digital and audiovisual content, production and distribution industry a conference and networking forum in order to discover future trends and trade content rights on an international level. This conference has achieved a high profile with the advent of animation and game products now distributed all around the world.

Miramax movie and television studio is, will for the first time in the company’s history, exhibit at MIPCOM 2011. In addition, it was announced that Miramax CEO Mike Lang will deliver a keynote address on Monday 3 October 2011.
Co-Chair of Disney Media Networks and President of Disney-ABC Television Group, Anne Sweeney will be honoured as MIPCOM 2011 Personality of the Year. Prior to her Award she will also give a Keynote Address on Wednesday 5 October.
MIPCOM is preceded by MIPJunior, a 2-day screening and conference event for kids” TV and multi platform content.
The MIPCOM Show will be held in Cannes which is the perfect place for yacht charters. You can stay in the Old Port, next to the Palais, or in Port Canto just to the east of the Croisette, next to the Casino and some of the most exclusive night clubs in Cannes. While attending the Cannes MIPCOM you can easily charter a boat for just a day. This is a great way to entertain your special clients and get to see the region from the water.
